Personal training

AC Well & Fitness offers one on one customized personal training sessions to meet individual fitness and wellness goals.  I motivate clients by setting goals and providing feedback and accountability.  I also measure client's strengths and weaknesses with fitness assessments. These fitness assessments will be performed before and throughout to measure improvements. I will also educate clients in many other aspects of wellness besides exercise, including general health and nutrition guidelines.  

Small group (2-3 people) and student training are also available.

Bootcamp & circuit training CLASS

This is FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT based fitness class using traditional tools such as your body weight and dumbbells to non-traditional tools like kettle bells, ropes, sleds, tires and bats.  This class is conducted in a fun group environment where we will rotate stations or workout as a group.  This class is a full body workout that is designed to increase strength, energy, endurance and flexibility.

Nutrient & Diet

Based on your percentage of lean muscle tissue and how many times per week you are able to commit to a training program your optimum calorie consumption will be determined. Your nutrition program is based upon your particular daily routine, therefore, if your exercise schedule varies, you will receive separate nutritional program to accommodate the variations in your schedule. This customizing of your diet will maximize your body's ability to burn body fat.

Lunch FIT@ LafAYette Studio

This class is a full body workout that is designed to increase strength, energy, endurance and flexibility in the time it takes to have lunch. This class is conducted in a fun group environment where we will rotate stations and workout as a group using traditional tools such as your body weight and dumbbells along with some non-traditional tools like kettle bells, tubes, bands,and fitness balls.

Conditioning Room

An activity course that provides both cardiovascular development and strength training opportunities.  Physical assessments are done, a conditioning program developed, and student fits workouts into their schedule throughout the term at their convenience.

Gentle Movement

Improve joint mobility, muscle strength and overall physical conditioning with tailored arthritis exersise program. Relieve the symptoms of arthritis and protect joints from further damage through range of motion, strengthening and endurance exercises. Isometric exercises will be used to help build strength without bending painful joints and to aid in joint mobility.  

PiYo

PiYo is a fun, challenging class fusing Pilates and Yoga.  You will burn calories, tone muscles, work on balance and get a great stretch.  You will flow through movements while gaining flexibility and mobility.

Better Bones and Balance

The Better Bones and Balance program is based on research from Oregon  State University's Bone Research Laboratory. The classes are designed to gradually improve balance and strength to avoid falls, maintain independence and reduce the risk of osteoporosis related fractures. Participants have experienced improved strength, balance, mobility and reduced bone loss compared to non-excercising participants. Class registration in advance is required. 

Yoga Level 1

Yoga Level 1 is designed for people new to yoga and/or those who enjoy a non-vigorous practice. Discover intentional breathing; develop proper pose alignment and start to rediscover your body and how it works in a whole new way. Yoga Level 1 explores poses with standing, seated, twisting and
fundamentals of sun salutations. Poses and sequences are practiced with alignment in mind offering practitioners the opportunity to gain confidence, strength, and flexibility. Yoga Level 1 is recommended for those with injury or body movement limitations.

Yoga Level 2

Yoga Level 2 is A yoga class ideal for the student with some beginning yoga experience. Through flowing sequences, you will link breath to movement, learn how to train the body and mind to increase strength, stamina, and focus. Yoga Level 2 is more challenging and continues to emphasize the fundamentals of yoga while presenting poses and sequencing the class in a more challenging way. 

Yoga Level 3

Yoga Level 3 is designed for students familiar with intermediate yoga postures and poses. Using one’s own knowledge of postures and breathing, you will practice exciting, physically demanding and challenging sequences and variations. The pace of Yoga Level 3 is faster, poses are deeper, and you will
achieve breakthroughs in your practice and self-awareness.


Restorative Yoga

Nourishing yoga poses coupled with the use of a roller and mini soft ball you will be able to bring your body back to a more ideal state of well-being by directly enhancing body awareness, rehydrating connective tissue and decreasing stress that accumulates from daily living.  R4 (reconnect, rebalance, rehydrate, & release) is a simple, proactive approach to maintaining a healthy, pain-free, active lifestyle.
